A audiobook of The Hollow Needle: Further Adventures of Arsene Lupin by Maurice Leblanc (translated by Alexander Teixeira de Mattos) Arsene Lupin returns in a wonderful story of disguises, love, and of course treasure. Once again, Lupin crosses paths with the famous Holmlock Shears. But this time Arsene matches wits with Isidore Beautrelet, Sixth-form Schoolboy.
Every step that Lupin takes has Beautrelet right on his heels. Has Lupin finally met his match? Will Beautrelet discover the secret of the Hollow Needle?
And has the gentleman burglar met another match as well, one who will lead him away from his life of crime forever? (Summary by Alex Patterson) For further information, including links to online text, reader information, RSS feeds, CD cover or other formats (if available), please go to the catalog page for this recording. org.

I've been listening during my evening walks and The Hollow Needle: Further Adventures of Arsene Lupin has been the highlight of my week honestly. There's a section in the middle where it all just comes together — gave me chills.
What I appreciate most is that Maurice Leblanc doesn't talk down to you. The ideas are complex but explained in a way that respects your intelligence. Really rare.
Listened to this over a long weekend trip. By the time I got home I'd already recommended it to three people. The Hollow Needle: Further Adventures of Arsene Lupin is just one of those books that sticks.
The narration quality on this is impressive. Clear, well-paced, and the tone matches the content perfectly. Makes a big difference when you're listening for hours.
