M. Forster. Read by Kara Shallenberg.
When Lucy Honeychurch travels to Italy with her cousin, she meets George Emerson, a bohemian and an atheist who falls in love with her. Upon her return to England, she is forced to choose between free-spirited George and her more conventional fiancé, Cecil Vyse. The story is both a romance and a critique of English society at the beginning of the 20th century.

Finished it in four sittings. Usually takes me weeks to get through an audiobook. Says a lot about how gripping A Room with a View is.
I almost skipped this one because the title didn't grab me. Really glad I didn't. The content inside is miles ahead of what the description suggests.
The way E.M. Forster uses stories and examples to illustrate points is really effective. Doesn't feel like a lecture at all — more like a conversation.
I've been in a reading slump for months and this finally broke it. Something about A Room with a View just clicked and now I'm back to listening every day. Grateful for it.
