I stumbled onto The Odyssey randomly and honestly? Best accident ever. The way Homer explains things — it just clicks. I've tried similar books and they always felt dry. This one actually kept me engaged start to finish.
Okay so I'm not usually big on audiobooks but a friend insisted I try this. Three chapters in and I was completely sold. The Odyssey is genuinely well-made — the content, the pacing, all of it.
Found this on Unodio and wasn't expecting much. Two hours later I was still going. Homer doesn't waste your time with filler — every chapter earns its place.
I've been listening during my evening walks and The Odyssey has been the highlight of my week honestly. There's a section in the middle where it all just comes together — gave me chills.
