Listened to this over a long weekend trip. By the time I got home I'd already recommended it to three people. Myths and Legends of Ancient Greece and Rome is just one of those books that sticks.
The narration quality on this is impressive. Clear, well-paced, and the tone matches the content perfectly. Makes a big difference when you're listening for hours.
I kept pausing to think about what I just heard. That's the mark of a good book for me — when it makes you stop and actually reflect. Myths and Legends of Ancient Greece and Rome did that consistently.
Not a single chapter felt like filler. E.M. Berens respects your time and delivers value throughout. Went in expecting decent, came out genuinely impressed.
