It all started down in a basement on Smith St. in Peekskill, NY. The year was 2001.
Four of us were in a previous band called Exit Of Reality, which ultimately didn't pan out... so we decided to keep jamming and create something completely new. Something to get the sick, twisted and brutal thoughts out of our heads.
This was our music and we dedicated our lives to it at the time. After rehearsing and writing songs for a few years, we finally met Joe Laurenzano. His powerful and soulful voice complimented our music perfectly and it wasn't too much longer until we started playing at shows in the local area and beyond.
We lasted for about another 2 years and then everything went to shit, so to speak. They say good things never last, so the only thing left to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the music.

I almost skipped this one because the title didn't grab me. Really glad I didn't. The content inside is miles ahead of what the description suggests.
The way Mark Hillard, Joe Bova, Jay Bova, Lou Greco, Joe Laurenzano uses stories and examples to illustrate points is really effective. Doesn't feel like a lecture at all — more like a conversation.
I've been in a reading slump for months and this finally broke it. Something about Mythium just clicked and now I'm back to listening every day. Grateful for it.
Recommended by my colleague and I see why. The kind of book that makes you feel smarter without making you feel like you're studying. Light touch, heavy impact.
