recording of Baron Trump's Marvellous Underground Journey by Ingersoll Lockwood. Read in English by Marcelle D Ward; Sylviamb; ToddHW The Little Baron Trump is a man of adventure. He and his dog Bulger have already braved many adventures together, but at the time our story opens, they are kind of dull at home, upset with the increasing familiarity of both two- and four legged neighbours.
What to do? Luckily, an old manuscript of the learned Spaniard, Don Constantino Bartolomeo Strepholofidgeguaneriusfum, falls into his hands, and off he goes to a journey to the centre of the earth. This is a remarkable book from 1893, blending the tradition of the Münchhausen stories with more modern fantasy and science fiction.

Okay so I'm not usually big on audiobooks but a friend insisted I try this. Three chapters in and I was completely sold. Baron Trump's Marvellous Underground Journey is genuinely well-made — the content, the pacing, all of it.
Found this on Unodio and wasn't expecting much. Two hours later I was still going. Ingersoll Lockwood doesn't waste your time with filler — every chapter earns its place.
I've been listening during my evening walks and Baron Trump's Marvellous Underground Journey has been the highlight of my week honestly. There's a section in the middle where it all just comes together — gave me chills.
What I appreciate most is that Ingersoll Lockwood doesn't talk down to you. The ideas are complex but explained in a way that respects your intelligence. Really rare.
