recording of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (Abridged), by Lewis Carroll Read by Phil Chenevert This is a delightful version of Alice's Adventures following that scurrying Rabbit with the watch that is shortened for the enjoyment of younger children. She meets all of the strange talking animals (and they are just as rude or silly as usual) and eats and drinks from all of the bottles and grows and shrinks alarmingly just like in the longer version. Enjoy.

Good balance of depth and accessibility. You don't need a background in this topic to follow along, but it never feels dumbed down either. Well done.
Finished it in four sittings. Usually takes me weeks to get through an audiobook. Says a lot about how gripping Alice's Adventure in Wonderland - Abridged is.
I almost skipped this one because the title didn't grab me. Really glad I didn't. The content inside is miles ahead of what the description suggests.
The way Lewis Carroll uses stories and examples to illustrate points is really effective. Doesn't feel like a lecture at all — more like a conversation.
