More depth than the title suggests

I almost skipped this one because the title didn't grab me. Really glad I didn't. The content inside is miles ahead of what the description suggests.

Emotional, honest, and beautifully told

The way Louise Imogen Guiney uses stories and examples to illustrate points is really effective. Doesn't feel like a lecture at all — more like a conversation.

This changed how I see things

I've been in a reading slump for months and this finally broke it. Something about England and Yesterday just clicked and now I'm back to listening every day. Grateful for it.

The pacing is just right — never drags

Recommended by my colleague and I see why. The kind of book that makes you feel smarter without making you feel like you're studying. Light touch, heavy impact.
